I just realized earlier today that I never popped over here to note the journal move - I only briefly mentioned it in my old main, and with hardly any reason behind the move at that. The gist of it is, that's my new journal. It's a mutli-purpose journal, where fandomy things are public and personal stuff is f-locked. I've been in a horrible dryspell lately, but what fics I have churned out have been posted there. I just...I needed a change. I'm going through a bit mentally right now (no, no - don't jump to conclusions like that; it's nowhere near as bad as last time), and in an effort to clean my head I've been trying to distance myself from the 'Wish Wielder' name that...well, no longer feels relevant. I won't bore y'all with petty details, because that wasn't my intent. I just wanted to let y'all know: yes, I'm still writing, but no, I'm not posting 'em here. So, again: fics can now be found at ~ Ver (formerly known as Wish)

Title: “The Psychology of Snapping” Author: Wish Wielder Fandom: Doctor Who Pairing / Character Focus: (Tenth) Doctor, Rose Tyler, the TARDIS, Donna Noble Challenge / Series: The Psychology Series Theme / Prompt: N/A Word Count: 1,393 Rating: T / PG-13 Summary: Rose is not amused by the Doctor’s new snapping trick. Notes / Spoilers: S4 finale, refs to the Doctor’s new snapping trick shown in Forest of the Dead; nothing too spoilery, other than what’s guessed at from the mid-series trailer. Inspired by a comment someone on Ehl Jay made about the snapping reflecting the Doc’s God complex, though I can’t for the life of me remember who said it. Title: “Toy Box” Author: Wish Wielder Fandom: Doctor Who Pairing / Character Focus: (Tenth) Doctor, Rose Tyler, Jack Harkness; Doctor x Rose Tyler Challenge/Series: Say What?! An Unusual First Line Reunion Challenge Theme / Prompt: “Honestly Rose, there’s no need to laugh. You act like you’ve never seen a man in a dress before.” Word Count: 2,192 Rating: T / PG-13 Summary: As reunions go, this was a bit…well, ridiculous. Not that anyone was asking him, of course… Notes/Spoilers: End of S4, alternating from Those Spoilers/official end. Pure, unadulterated crack. Disclaimer: “Doctor Who” and all respective properties are © the BBC. Megan D. (Wish Wielder) does not, has never, nor will ever own “Doctor Who”. ( Toy Box )

Title: “So This is How it Ends” Author: Wish Wielder Fandom: Doctor Who Pairing / Character Focus: Donna Noble, (Tenth) Doctor, Rose Tyler, S4 Finale Antagonist (POSS. SPOILER) Challenge / Series: Prequel to “Stop Promising”. Theme / Prompt: N/A Word Count: 575 Rating: T / PG-13 Summary: One of them must die – and they've both waited too long for their happy ending for her to let it be ripped from them now. Notes / Spoilers: S4 finale – assumptions and guesses made off of trailers/spoiler leaks (antagonist guess based on a leak; as far as I know it is not confirmed). TBW; character death. Also written for preemptive therapy – but please believe me when I say I do not want the character death (but if it has to happen, Uncle Rusty, it better be damned good). Disclaimer: “Doctor Who” and all respective properties are © the BBC. Megan D. (Wish Wielder) does not, has never, nor will ever own “Doctor Who”.

Title: “Stop Promising” Author: Wish Wielder Fandom: Doctor Who Pairing / Character Focus: (Tenth) Doctor, Rose Tyler, Wilfred Mott, Donna Noble (off-screen); Doctor x Rose Challenge / Series: N/A Theme / Prompt: N/A Word Count: 600 Rating: T / PG-13 Summary: The death of a friend forces the Doctor to realize he can’t decide his companions’ fates for them. Notes / Spoilers: S4 finale – assumptions and guesses made off of trailers/spoiler leaks. TBW; character death. Written solely for preemptive therapy, ‘cause my favorite shows have been killing me this year in the finales and I know Who won’t disappoint. Notes / Spoilers: “Blink”; drabble-ish. S’not often I do a drabble, so this is…weird, to say the least (my ‘drabbles’ are usually around 500 or more words). I’ve had this idea since I first saw the ep, though, and after a rewatch it finally demanded writing. Disclaimer: “Doctor Who” and all respective properties are © the BBC. Megan D. Notes / Spoilers: End of S4; casting/antagonist spoilers and episode speculation based on filming leaks/trailers. Speculation is mostly ambiguous and guessed at (though also extremely biased). Follow up to “Ask”, because humansrsuperior is a master of plunny resurrection. Disclaimer: “Doctor Who” and all respective properties are © the BBC. Megan D. Notes / Spoilers: End of S4; casting/antagonist spoilers and episode speculation based on filming leaks. Speculation is mostly ambiguous and guessed at. Because I really needed to write something Doctor/Jackie. Disclaimer: “Doctor Who” and all respective properties are © the BBC. Megan D. Title: “What I Miss Most” Author: Wish Wielder Fandom: Doctor Who Pairing / Character Focus: (Whiny Emo Teenager Tenth) Doctor, Adam cameo; obligatory Doctor x Rose and unrequited Martha x Doctor references Challenge / Series: N/A Theme / Prompt: N/A Word Count: 1,922 Rating: T / PG-13 (for some language) Summary: The Doctor pops by Adam's for a little heart-to-heart. Notes / Spoilers: Shortly after Voyage of the Damned with references up to that point. Crackfic that I'm totally blaming Aku on – though the Whiny Teenage Emo!Doc is partially Doctor Why's fault (and partially my need for some cathartic venting). Aku, this one's for you. And Uncle Ten's pinstriped mug; may it mourn its losses accordingly. Disclaimer: “Doctor Who” and all respective properties are © the BBC. Megan D. Notes: S3, directly after 42; part of the Psychology series (the first that has nothing to do with clothes or comic relief, in fact). References to previous companions (Time Lords and Rose being the obvious, others not as much so). Disclaimer: “Doctor Who” and all respective properties are © the BBC. Megan D.
